That entire MWGP was insane for him.

Guy came out of nowhere and started decimating top fighters.

No one was really sure how he was able to take apart Rampage and tried saying it was due to previously broken ribs but Rampage took x-rays which news outlets showed no damage.

Shogun just beat the 2003 MWGP finalist from pillar to post cleanly.

Shogun was the man at that time. Only reason he wasnt pride champ was because wandy was. Wandy could have easily moved to 185 and then he would have been even more decorated. He had some awesome wars, little nog in the gp was best of the year. He stomped arona, overeem, rampage.. All easily. He lost a lot with all the surgeries but still won ufc gold. Def top 3 lhw ever, imo even above dc. He also never tested dirty so jones has that * by his name that shogun doesnt.
