One of the actors that played one of the Weasley twins (not sure if it was Fred or George) acted in another movie that was written by a very close friend of mine called Patchwork (it might still be on Netflix if anyone’s interested). Apparently he was by far the worst actor in the entire production, despite being the closest thing to a “big name celebrity” that the movie had. Guess that’s what happens when you’re cast as a child actor in a major series for no other reason than being ginger twins.

I havent seen a single one. I actually tried to start this one day when I had like an entire week off. Couldnt get into the first movie. Something about the cast being little kids. Just killed it for me.

I like the books. It combines the awkward frustration of puberty with a classic Bildungsroman.

Magic dueling. Dark lords. Followers. Character deaths.

Missed the following 4 due to whatever and finally got round to them a couple years ago and fuck me were they boring as shit

My kids are reading the books now. They're terrible as far as literary merit is concerned, but who cares if the kids are reading 1000 page books. The movies have been pretty bad too... But the kids are entertained.

The movies and books were great. Especially once you hit the 3rd or 4th ones. Books are a low level read since they are for a younger audience, but I love how the story matures with each episode. Friggin last few didn’t really feel geared towards kids much but teens.

Also, it’s funny how insecure some guys get about watching them. Gotta still try to be cool in some way I guess.
