That's not true at all. I've heard tons of people talking about it and it's been on mainstream and local news and major websites like cnn have it all over their front page. Not sure what weirdo left websites and shit you read, but yeah this is pretty much one of the biggest stories in the country right now.

NYT and WaPo initially ran stories covering the incident. They’ve put out WAY more articles shitting on him and explaining what actually happened. I would imagine CNN is going the same but I don’t watch Cable News.

Again, to normal people this wasn’t much of a story, it only became one when we found out he staged the entire thing.

I’m sure breitbart has been telling you the left is beating it to death, but that hasn’t been my experience. I read the newspaper. NYT, WaPo, and Plain Dealer. I’m not reading much beyond everyone now taking a shit on him.

John McWhorter is saying we are doing better than a lot of people give credit for on race issues. He is not saying racism does not exist. He is saying there is there is some social prestige in being a noble victim and that is what may have lead Jussie to try to stage his incident.

Smollett, if the latest reporting is true, was an eager puppy, jumping with joyous inattention into American social politics as he has encountered it coming of age in the 21st century. What he did was wrong. No matter how badly delusional SJWs try to justify his actions, the fact is that he faked a hate crime, lied to the police, lied to everyone, and was trying to make race relations worse in his own country which has given him many privileges and opportunities -- NOT oppression.
