The mososaurus continues to piss me off. They were 20 feet long or so, not the sixty foot leviathans they are in the JW movies.
Anyway, I'll see it.
Wasn't there a gigantic one though called Liepleurodon or something like that? That's what I assumed this was anyway.
Yes, but I'm pretty sure these are mososaurs. I think they say so in the trailer. I know thats what was in the tank for the first JW.
Ice AgeI want to see one with Ice Age animals
They have to cover for the fact feathered dinos are lameMutant Dinosaurs seems like a stupid gimmick since they are already science experiments. They introduced the idea in the last trilogy though so why not roll with it i guess. As long as there isnt a kid clone thats also her mom that creates mutant locusts im sure this will be much better than the last two movies.
All they had to do with the last movie is show dinosaurs fucking up cities for two hours and the humans trying to collect them all. Instead we got a bug movie. I'll take another island movie any day at this point.
Is this really your biggest problem with this movie? The mososaurus continues to piss me off. They were 20 feet long or so, not the sixty foot leviathans they are in the JW movies.

Also I think mosasauridae is a family so technically every species from it is a "mosasaur"
I think the misnaming of velociraptors comes from the books, the author liked their name more than Deinonychus (I do not think Utharaptors were discovered back then, and their name is way too pedestrian to be scary).Biggest problem? Nah. I don't really have a problem with this movie because I don't know enough about it, but i do wish they'd left the kids out of it. I just don't understand why they made the change. The real animal was impressive enough, and they didn't change any other dino that much (though the velociraptor in the movie is much closer to a Utahraptor in size, since the real velociraptor was nowhere near that big).
So i guess there is a precedent for them embellishing a dinosaur size. Meh. Still don't like it.
