Junior dos Santos ‘disappointed’ by Fedor’s Johnson — ‘Completely the opposite of what I was imagini

There are people who actually think that Timothy Johnson is better than JDS, and that Fedor would have beaten JDS. Delusional. Hilarious, but still very delusional.

If Timmothy fought JDS tomorrow I wouldn't be shocked at all if he won. JDS is washed up af and has been stopped in 4 of his last 5. Tim has improved a lot, won 3 of his last 4 and had a hard, 5 round fight with Moldavsky. He's a big, durable wrestler who can brawl.

Johnson is cheap. The other options wanted big pay days. Bellator can't spend extravagantly at this point.

Why do people only look at records in terms of Ws and Ls? If Tim fought the same men JDS fought he'd also have 4 straight losses on his record. 3 guaranteed in Gane, Ngannou and Blaydes and one high certainty in Roze. Before that, he soundly beat Lewis, Ivanov and Tuivasa back to back.

I guarantee if JDS fought only one of the four and lost before leaving the UFC nobody would be dismissing him like this, but somehow because he fought all four, we forget who he was up against.

Tim's good but he's more Ivanov and Tuivasa level than Blaydes and Bigi Boi. If JDS were to be signed by Bellator, I'd bet on him to become champ. He'd thoroughly negate Moldavsky's wrestling and decision him in striking.

Your grips to JDS nuts are tight and I won't fight to loosen them but JDS could easily lose to Johnson, Moldavsky and Bader.

JDS hasn't been the same guy since he got KOd by Reem and in 2021 isn't a lock against anyone who can hit and is durable and can go 5 hard rounds.

He ate Lewis's shots, Ivanov's shots and Tuivasa's shots. None of those men you mentioned can hit anywhere near as hard as Tuivasa much less Rozenstruik and Lewis. In fact, probably no one on earth who actually knows about Johnson, Moldavsky and Bader would think they're heavy hitters. Johnson due to his weight probably, but the other two? Come on.

I mean, to be fair, you said he hasn't been the same since Overeem. That's a way better take than those who simply regurgitate "Cain changed JDS!". No, Cain severely diminished JDS's chin longevity but it was still as good as ever for the Stipe fight. People so underrate Stipe they even forget his war with JDS. You're right, it wasn't until the Reem fight that JDS started really slowing down.

Doesn't mean I won't favor this shot version of JDS over your three guys. Maybe I'm baised but I can say with confidence that if JDS hasn't fought those four and damaged his chin and body even more, I'd easily favor him to become Bellator champ.
