Pena has the best current win streak going in the division aside from Nunes, but Valentina's win over Kaufman may be better than any of Pena's (Eye beat Kaufman but many thought it was a robbery and Kaufman is more accomplished). This might be a classic grappler vs striker matchup although Shevchenko grapples a lot for a 'striker' and might determine the next prospect to be pushed towards title contention. Interested?

Shevchenko could have beaten Nunes but I don't know if I'd pick her over Pena, I'd rather see Nunes vs. Pena as I highly doubt she gets a shot at the belt and Pena would be screaming for a shot at the belt if she beat Shevchenko.

I like the match up, but not now. Not quite yet.
There are other matchups out there for both of these girls.
