Dang that was a big opportunity for her. That will cost her hundreds of dollars.

Peña is venezuelan, pretty different.

Venezuelan actually

The Venezuelan Vixen is a very unusual nickname for a Mexican fighter.

I got Aldana all day, much better boxing and her TDD is not the same as it use to be. I think a lot of people are gonna be surprised.

Amazing new, fuck Pena, Aldana should have been booked from the beginning, she will destroy Amanda.

And new

I got Aldana by TKO, better striker and Nunes is past her prime.

Nah Aldana is gonna KO Nunes and we will have 4 Mexican Champs

Dana says it around 0:42 in this video

The most interesting thing about that was fighters from contender series had "CS" by their name on the board. It is clearly a goal of the UFC to raise that number if they showing it for all staff to see. I didn't realise they were so heavily invested in it and thought it was just TV for money and they didn't really care how winners went in the UFC.

And some of those guys aint exactly fresh off the show either.

There's obviously a lot of variables, but I find it weird how much the boxing gets brought up. Maybe as Nunes ages, sure, but Aldana's not coming anywhere near the on-paper boxing skill of Holm.

Then again, I could easily play the same game from the other side and talk about how much better Aldana is than Pena, but eh.

Agreed, a PPV in Toronto should be a stand out ppv, the fans deserve it.

I luckily got to see GSP/Condit and GSP/Diaz in Montreal. Now those were real cards that rightfully brought out the crowds. I was easily able to convince 6 buddies for us all to drive up to Montreal for the weekend and see those cards.

GSP/Condit is still to this day the loudest I've ever heard any crowd for anything, MMA (including Conor/Khabib which I was also there for), NFL, UK football, concerts, etc. GSP's walkout was insane as it was his return from his injury and in his hometown, but when he got back to his feet after Condit's headkick and then on top of that proceeded to take Condit down I swear the building was literally shaking it was so loud and crazy. It was especially powerful as when Condit first floored him there was this eery second where the entire building froze before everybody roared to their feet not wanting to miss what happened next... only for it to be GSP surviving the then most dangerous finisher in the game and getting right back to it.

The UFC takes Canada for granted.

Nobody should attend this card. Send them a message or we'll keep getting shitty cards like this.

Before Pereira and Wonderboy fell off the main card was looking great imo. You have Oliveira Vs Dariush, you have Ige Vs Nate the train who should main event every PPV, Curtis Vs Imavov should be a banger stylistically too.

i dont give aldana much of a chance

nice to see a fresh matchup though. i'll catch highlights when i have time. this isn't must see tv.

This is a much better fight and one I'm actually interested in seeing. If Nunes win I suspect she hangs them up.
