Judo Joe Riggs Gif?

I remember Joe Riggs fought Jason Von Flue who is the inventor of the von flue choke. In the fight, Joe Riggs, nailed him with an EPIC Judo throw!

I say this because of the Karo thread and it reminded me that Riggs had some epic throws and badass ground and pound.

Pic of Riggs posing for Sherdog and online MMA fans with his lovely wife Lisa.

On a totally unrelated note. Isn't he the only fighter to compete at every weightclass? Or did I just make that up? I could swear I read it somewhere.

He has competed from welterweight to heavyweight. He made an attempt to do light weight for bragging rights of saying he has been in ALL weight classes but with intro of featherweight in UFC he abandoned it.

Not cool man!

Please remove gif because this is a Joe Riggs positive thread.

Thank you

They are white people from a middleclass neighbor hood.

Proof?

Karo had decent wrestling. Karo had a more diverse grappling background since he was also a catch wrestler and a sambo guy. While Ronda was more focused on the sport aspect of judo.
Yeah. Unfortunately he was lazy and not a good striker

I was misquoted.

It's all good. Riggs does have wrestling but I resent it because he is at his best when his mind is more boxing oriented.

He should have focused more on developing his MMA boxing not so much wrestling and ground pound

It's not exactly his fault. Effective takedown defence for strikers in mma is a reasonably recent phenomenon. Like when did the circle, circle, push away really become popular? Like six, seven years ago?!

Before that guy's were trying to sprawl, hip in and counter with head pressure against real wrestlers and we all know how that turned out.

Riggs was already out of the UFC by the time strikers got smarter with their TDD. And he deserves honerable mention for the hall of fame for fighting Nick Diaz twice in the same night.

True on the hall of fame claim. It was an epic story. Also, the judo throw I was looking for is at 0:12, can you GIF it for me? Thanks!
