Judges Scorecards

Round 3 was the swing round, as a lot may have suspected.

It was basically leg and body kicks vs jabs, whichever one you wanted to score more.

The wrestling was nothing. No control time, sub attempts or GnP. I rewatched the fight a couple times now (round 3 in particular) and it was stupidly close. DDP didn't land many punches, his kicks were his best shots. Like I say - it's whatever you score more between the leg and body attacks vs the jabs.

I just don't know what most of you who think strickland lost, were watching. I don't understand how light kicks and checked kicks got so much credit. DDP missed so badly up top all fight, what were you guys seeing? DDP got beat and battered pretty badly. It was not really a very close fight, those who think it was are the ones who are very very biased. Leg kicks and body kicks that are effective wear a fighter down and cause you to win the later rounds. DDP won round 4 but round 5 was the best round for either fighter by far and that was strickland. This is why i dislike fights being judged based off of round instead of the entire fight. Even in round by round scoring he still wins. I truly don't understand why so many of you are biased, it is what it is tho.

MMA is not boxing and more things than punchy punchy get scored and leg kicks can unquestionably do more damage than a punch.

You're just biased dude. Nothing more, nothing less.

They CAN, but you visibly see it. There was absolutely nothing that showed they were effective. Its absolute nonsense to state what you just said. I dont even have a single post about strickland, dumbass. I have no dog in this shit tier era/division. The vast majority of you have nothing to substantiate your take. Even with those kicks he got outstruck handily. This is nonsense and if you werent biased you would see it.

You only say it could go either way BECAUSE you are biased. This wasn't a hard fight to score. It was very very easy 3 rounds for Strickland. In no world could it not have been. Only in a biased world is this not at least 3-1 so yea, it is what it is.

Anyone acting like Dricus possibly couldn't have got 2, 3 and 4 are not worth discussing the fight with because they show that's some clear bias.

In a fight that close, takedowns and octagon control mean everything.
 
48-47 DDP.

Sean didn't get his game going and didn't do enough in those middle rounds
