Dominated by Usman

Did the Journeyman land even one decent shot over 25 minutes?

As if a guy who lost to Ragin Al would actually beat Usman <Lmaoo><Lmaoo>

Jorge conned everyone, I bet Dana is annoyed he paid him extra

Ali Abdelaziz wins again
Terrible take. Jorge did show mental indecision at times, but he was ultimately bested in an incredibly boring and arguably ineffective style by a fighter who had 2 months of preparation time more than him.

Your obsession with Ali is creepy at this point. The guy is a sleazeball of the highest degree (representing clients on both sides of a transaction, conflict of interest), not to mention his connections to various less-than-savory powers in the Muslim world. I cannot tell if you are some obsessed Muslim guy, or just a weird American kid who thinks ISIS is cool because they set stuff on fire. We got over these dictatorial fantasies by our early 20s. Lets move on.

he had a 6 days notice. did not do that bad considering that. full camp could have gone different.
Full camp gives him high level wrist control and pummeling? a skillset that takes at least a decade of constant drilling to get up to par with a good wrestler?

If you call being smart about his career conning, then yes he conned us all.
Taking the fight short notice was win - win for Mas: WIN and you get twice as many fans for being totally a BMF, or LOSE and you lose nothing because of course "6 days notice, brah!" and you still get to claim (perhaps even more so) being a total BMF.
"6 days notice" as reason for him losing could or could not be legit, but either way he didn't really lose that much stock after Saturday.
Mas ain't dumb after all.

14 losses. Usman has a belt and made more money than NOMASvidal. : )

It was no way dominating , it was just nullifying . Dominating is when you actually hurt someone lol

I would say it was dominating but not definitive.
Definitive is either subbing someone or KTFO'ed.

That’s like saying in a foot race , one person literally being one step a head of the other the whole race is dominating when honestly one was just a hair faster. Dominating would consist of beating someone by a few seconds

Dominating vs definitive.

Maybe I should switch them around...

It was a definitive win for Usman as he completely shut down Jorge.

It would have been dominant if he submitted him or KHTFO.

Not everyone...

Jorge needs to add some muscle and take his training more seriously. He's got the frame for at least 10 more pounds of muscle. Will be a gatekeeper until he shows up in elite shape, it's impossible to beat strong high level grapplers otherwise. The strength disparity is too much. Needs to go 100% dedication, stop the partying, stop fucking around and show up ready to go.

He has some of the best striking in the UFC but no contender will ever want to stand with him from now on, he needs to adapt and improve otherwise he truly will stay a journeyman gatekeeper.

I respect Usman a lot, by the way. Solid champ with an effective skillset, if a tad unexciting. Gotta appreciate the will to win, regardless of the opinion of fans.
Rooted for Jorge, nonetheless. tee hee

I think Jorge proved that he is somewhere between Colby and Woodley in the rankings. So, still in the top 5?

I know this is crazy but it's possible to be a fan of a fighter who is not the best in the division

Exactly it was a definitive win for Usman , Masvidal really didn’t have much for Usman at all . I was honestly disappointed Mas did not change up his strategy at all during the fight . I think he lacks the strength to ever keep Usman off of him , no matter his conditioning . However rather than throwing some wild strikes I think he should have planted his hips and blasted upper cuts when Usman shot for the takedown . He was likely still going to be taken down most times but I believe better chance of catching Usman that way than what he was doing.

Dude you literally have a pres kissing dictator asses 24/7.
We have people who got funded by fucking Maduro.
Half of Eastern Europe is under dictatorship or on the brink of it.

People fucking love dictators man.

I think deep down, Jorge knew his gas tank was depleted and he simply didn't want to get GnP'd or KO'ed, so he fought to go the distance.
