I knew this guy was going to be trouble as soon as his first interview after their release when he called his dead infant daughter a martyr.

Wasn't this the guy who was bizarrely nervous, and defiant about his extradition after he was rescued?

Guess it all makes sense now. Maybe Trudeau can give him a few million bucks for his legal fees.

None of this story ever added up. Who goes "backpacking" in Afghanistan with their pregnant wife? Who has numerous children while being held hostage by the Taliban? Who marries into a Muslim extremist family? 3 guesses, first 2 don't count. Now it appears the truth about Josh is being revealed.

Interesting , but need more information. Also can someone link the "suspicious" interview he gave when he was released? This is the first i am hearing of the story.

Don’t seem to be releasing the names currently, which could mean a variety of things.

If I had to guess I would think this was in relation to his family, which would explain his wife’s (paraphrased) statement of “yeah he did, but it’s because of what happened to him”, and would be some kind of traumatic stress induced deal.

But, at this point nothing would surprise me about this whole series of events.

Trudeau has got to be a top-3 worst world leader active today...
And I say that with a president who once claimed a shower would keep him safe from AIDS after he raped the daughter of a dead friend.

I thought it was strange how he bashed the particular terrorist group that captured him.
It wasn't like your normal captive that would speak out about the terrorists or the jihadist in general etc.

But he went out of his way saying how stupid and bad that particular fraction was.
Looks like he tried to join some terrorists in Afghanistan but got captured by their enemies first.
