I don't understand!

How did this dude out of nowhere go on a crazy back to back losing streak?

I mean, it was not a slow decline, he went from losing a questionable decision to Johnny Hendricks when John was a beast to just getting KO'd left and right by everybody.

Its frustrating because I am from the tuf noob generation and it hurts me to see that despite not being his biggest fan.

Bad eye injury and left AKA I'm guessing

GSP dropped a truth bomb and it killed him.

Usada didn't like his motor boating. Funny how people go shit when they come around.

Maybe training like a fucking maniac at AKA for a decade and throwing haymakers in sparring didn't help his longevity or chin. That broken orbital didn't help either. They should've stopped that Georges fight.

I think that orbital really jacked him up. I remember a video of him like 8 months later and there was still issues (I think nerve damage in the face). Finally when he did come back, he seemed to get really bothered when hit in that spot again. Crazy.

Kind of like Gilbert Melendez leg. After all this time since Stephens fight, apparently it is still a bit jacked. I guess back-to-back fights where it got destroyed didn't help.

How so?

True about AKA but he did recover from eye injury otherwise he wouldn't have been commissioned to fight.

He was pretty honest and aggressive than his normal self. But this is price fighting and Josh is the type to fight on short notice as long as the price is right.

Completely harmless compared to many fighters behaving now a days.

I think he wasn't going crazy in sparring. I mean he was sparring with Fitch and Mike Swick as oppose to the likes of Luke and Khabib.

Happened during this

Blast from the past my man!

He was still looking pretty thick post usada. He didnt look completely deflated.

He has good genetics.

he got his eye smashed from georges first punch. and then had it pounded on for 5 rounds. abuse said it already but that fight should have been stopped.

GSP jacked his eye plus he somehow fooled himself into thinking he could box and abandoned his wrestling. When opponents figured out he only had a big right he was done.

About his last few fights, he was fucking unhappy with his contract, wanted to leave and obviously didnt care, he even took a fight on quite short notice and got tapped easily.

Why would a guy like Kos after like 15 UFC fights or even more would take a fight on short notice? Exactly, he wanted out ASAP even if it meant 2 or 3 losses in a row, he knew Bellator would make a good offer afterwards nonethless.

Long live Koshcheck

Tried to box with boxers... instead of grapple. Plus seemed like he got old quick. But the guy never backed down from a scrap...props.
