Hendricks had some real fun fights on that run- he alternated brutal knockouts with really close decisions- I remember thinking Kos edged it out as well, real close though. Despite all the missing weight and strange antics I will always 100% Johny because that run of fights up until the lawler rematch were so damn entertaining.

Him vs condit, GSP, and lawler 1 were back to back to back awesome fights. If him and Condit had 2 more rounds it could've been a real classic.

Prime Kos was a beast as was Hendricks.. easy to shit on them now for some people, but both these guys entertained me for years so I can't hate. Wish both guys the best in the coming years. Also thought Kos won this fight.

LOTS of people stopped Hendrick's takedowns.

And um, he did take Josh down twice.

And Hendricks TD accuracy is pretty crap (46%) and lower even than Koscheck's (48%). When compared to good fighters he looks even worse (GSP is 74%, Hughes is 50%, Alves is 66%, Penn is 55%, Fitch is 51%, Lawler 65%, etc.)

This is why I keep telling MMA fans to look at the record and the tape, and see if they match. I am noticing that a lot of fan and even expert MMA opinions are based on bullshit hype, because what the fans and even experts are saying about certain fighters is not reflected in their records . LOL
