Josh Barnett was training Travis Browne??

This surprised me some because I remember when Josh lost to Travis and acted kind of angry talking to Joe about it. When Travis won he slit his throat as sort of mocking gesture to Josh.

Anyone else catch this and wonder the same thing? I guess they buried the hatchet which is pretty cool.

Yeah I remember that part but forgot about their history until reading your post. I thought there were a lot of loose ends in this podcast that could have been expanded on. Like when Barnett told Rogan the supplement he took was purely Tribulus, with nothing else in it and Rogan was like yeah that herb does fuck all and Josh agreed with him....so it begs the question, if he agrees it does nothing, why take it ?...

Why is Browne still training? He has been knocked silly and kicked out of the UFC. He is also set for life now that he married Ronda.

Barnett's walkout to the Browne-fight was probably the most intense walkout in UFC history, definitely one of them.
Such a shame the fight ended the way it did. If you haven't seen the walkout you should definitely look it up!

Yeah he was training him for oleynik. If I remember correctly he said he apologized to josh and felt bad about the whole throat slash thing and he was really cool about it.

Good for him, Barnett was about to make a title run but got brutally finished, it was such a brutal and quick finish he admitted it took him a lot of time to get over it, he didn't fought for more than a year after that fight also.

I'm glad he let it go and helped Browne in his training

Nah. Fighters kept trying them afterward and were getting called out by the ref for it. Something about the angle the elbow comes down at, but what they describe being illegal is exactly what Travis did, just his longer frame made it look like he adhered to some garbage loophole.
