He requires height and reach to pick apart guys. He looks less than stellar when someone has a similar frame. He is obviously the lhw goat but guys like Overeem, Rothwell, Arlovski, JDS, Werdum and Browne are all his height or bigger. I don't think he'd dominate any of them.

Weak HW's maybe, real HW dogs, no way. MW bully Jones gets wrecked by old MF Hunto 10/10.

Yeah.
Though, he looked especially meh against OSP, so some of it might have been ring rust.
Either way, he needs to learn from Conor's mistakes, and stay in the smaller division.

I agree.
His biggest asset is him making the best use of his reach advantage, which he deserves credit for of course.
Anyone who can match him in the physical department will give him troubles and,if they're skilful enough, may match him or better him in a fight.
A lot of HW's can do that,I think Rumble has the tools to do that too.

Everyone knows why GSP retired. He's ducking the whole fucking HW division.

Was hoping increased strength would equal increase punching power. He doesn't have one punch KO power, that will hurt at HW. Need your opponents respect.

Has a pretty good chin though and he'd be faster than most HW.

He trains with half of those guys... I think he'll know where he stands.

I agree. I think the two men who would beat him especially badly are Werdum and Overeem. Of course he wouldn;t geta shot at them immediately after switching weight classes. For his first HW fight he'd get a guy like Josh Barnett and that would be one hell of a fight! I'd love to see Barnett vs. Jones! It would also be interesting to see how he'd react to the punches thrown by a real heavyweight like Mark Hunt!

You are very right. This is why Alexander Gustafsson gave him super hard fight.

he's hittable when he fights people of similar size. if he went to HW I bet he'd get knocked out a couple times

Im holding my reservations till we actually see who many say its the GOAT fight at HW

He doesn't need to dominate in HW divsion, he is LHW. Mighty Mouse also doesn't need to dominate in HW divsion. Werdum needs to dominate because he is HW.

I think he would definitely have success at HW, but yea, he tends to do less well against guys closer to his size.

I agree. You will never hear me complain that he is too big for LHW. In my opinion if you make weight then there's no issue. Just stating that I don't think he'd be top 5 at HW. There will always be an argument for Fedor over Jones because Fedor was GOAT at HW which is ultimately the best division.
