this fight is the only rational fight to book for New York Card.

Book this shiit and honestly speaking I was never a fan of JBJ-DC 2 because I thought he already beat him and found it less interesting. I really wanna see Jones starch the HW champion whomever is the champion at that time

A fighter not even in the division is the most "rational" fighter to book? hmmmmm

He already cleaned out that division and him even doing a rematch with DC was weird according to me. HW-Title fight is the only option that can get me excited

I was never crazy about the rematch with DC either. Personally, I'd like to see Jones fight Rumble or maybe a rematch with Gustafsson since I think he deserves one. That was a close fight worthy of a rematch. He's the one guy he couldn't "clean out" easily.

Please explain how this is the "only rational fight".

Im curious about why you feel this way.

These fights are pointless for him and these guys don't deserve to fight him now and if they want they should work themselves up and his a contender himself searching for a title-fight so there is no reason for holding him up to fight another contender it's pointless for his career advancement

Jon has other things to worry about right now that might affect his career. And I'm not sure what you mean about advancing his career, most champions make extraordinary money and get to hold a belt. Not sure why everyone feels the need to prove they can dominate in each weight class, that's for ego, not for career.

His the GOAT and a top contender who is in search of titles fight and thats his situation

I guess you just spoke to him about it...? Then why hasn't MM moved up?

Want to see him fight a HW at 197, probably wishful thinking

Same. I want to see Mark Hunt vs. Jon Jones as the main event.
Just about the right area of HW to start at but fuck I don't want Jones getting KOed and having a weak chin afterwards

Well, there's no guarantee Hunt would win, but it'd be a great story line. Aging fighter currently enjoying one of the most unlikely career renaissances in combat sports history vs. young phenom considered by many to be the #1 pound-for-pound fighter and by many more to be the best MMA fighter of all time. If Jones wins, particularly by stoppage, he proves to the world that he's ready to be one of the top heavyweights in the sport and if Hunt wins, his Cinderella story becomes totally spectacular.

Jones has 2 huge fights at LHW why would he move
