Jones vs Stipe for the Interim HW title

I don’t think it’s fair to bring in Jon Jones for the title when there are other guys that have put in work. Jon has no wins at HW. Tai Tuivasa is on a four fight winning streak and has a fight against BB in a few weeks. If he wins, I would seriously consider him for the next title shot. It all depends on how he wins.

As Sonnen said, Miocic is the only threat in the HW division for Jon. The Ngannou-Gane destroyed any delusions that either of those men would be the one to beat Jon.
Lol I think you forgot that the only reason we came to a grappling match was because of Gane's supreme striking defense that allowed him to not get hit a single time by big Frank.
Jones would get his head ripped off just like any other HW Ngannou's faced.
+PEDless Jones lost to one-legged journeyman MW Santos and to Reyes, and couldn't finish Anthony Smith of all people.

Jon would easily avoid Ngannou's sloppy, telegraphed, slow punches. He's not a fat, 40-year-old heavyweight. As usual after two minutes of punching air Ngannou will be huffing and puffing with his mouth open like a fucking retard and be easy pickings for the GOAT.

I agree with you on that. And it's not just the tournaments Bellator does them in the worst possible way where they clog everything up. They are bad for promtions but I imagine someone other than Scott could do a better job balancing the tight rope. Coker is horrible at distributing talent to events going back to Strikeforce. He signs a bunch of A list talent and has no idea what to do with it.
Sad but true. I was really looking forward to the Coker era in Bellator, because I liked Strikeforce a lot. But he’s mismanaged the fuck out of that.

Weird feeling we have seen that movie before.

Mouth breathing Ngannou is the new UFC mythical creature.

Jon won't rush him like Stipe nor will he be suspectible to Ngannou's wrestling.

Knowing that Francis isn't fighting until December regardless of whether he's a free agent or waiting out his contract, I expect the UFC to strip and release him if they can't figure something out. They're not going to make an interim belt just so Francis can leave by the time he'd be ready for the unification bout.

Jones/Stipe will be for the undisputed belt this summer. Seeing as how Dana's probably feeling bitter towards Gane for losing, I'm guessing that they give Lewis the shot after if he beats Tuivasa. Gane will probably need to beat Blaydes to get back in the discussion, and then there's Aspinall coming up if he can take care of Volkov.

If Francis is out till the end of the year, this match up makes sense. I think the UFC should do this fight. It would be a very interesting fight.

I’m a huge Jones fan, but I don’t see a way how he could beat Ngannou or Gane. I would give him a better chance at beating Stipe
yeah Idk where Chael get these theories from, ppl buy it
all these 3 are hard matchups for Jones. can he beat all 3? yes. but lets not pretend we are sure it will be easy. We cant be.

Like that fight but don't like Stipe because he's to inactive and hist last 8 fights were championship fights.

Time to take a break and fight a contender again.
