We've seen Santos fail miserably reaching for greatness!!

Why we might hear the Jones haters make their petty ridiculous arguments that Santos somehow won a decision.................we also know Rumble were to come back he'd be a much more serious contender!

Sure he'll be a little rusty but If he commits....

Rumble is also much better defensive boxer - and I'm not even talking about his offensive/defensive wrestling...

Santos 1,2,5. Also I have zero faith in Rumble at this point.

Rumble will jump right in to fight Jones and not give him any fight material to analyse leaving ton of questions.
300 iq

Rumble would get pick apart easily by Jones. He's just way too wild and way too predictable. And Santos is a much better and a much faster striker than rumble. Rumble may have more power and a better chin but Santos is a much better technical fighter than him

Where did you get that rumble is a better defensive fighter than Santos?and rumble wrestling is irrelevant when he fought Jones. He doesn't have the cardio and techniques to wrestle with Jones for 5 rounds

Rumble is not making 205 no more.
Or do you mean a HW fight?

Santos got taken down by multiple different fighters during his career, while Rumble completely negated Phil Davis' wrestling.

Phil Davis was shooting takedowns from miles away house with zero setup. And not to mention Phil Davis was eating tons of clean shots from rumble and didn't even get dropped once. Jones would and could schooled rumble, plain and simple.

Rumble has literally no ground game tough.

Thiago at least has something

This is simply motonic, really.
If Davis had not proven that he got a hell of a chin - or Rumble had not proven that he got insane knockout power - then you got ZERO understanding of a sport.
Davis was shooting different takedowns , working hard to take Rumble down - and did not succeed, while he's known to take down most of the fighters he faces, wrestlers included.

No way bro,

Rumble has super death in his hands. Jon would most likely wreck him but there is far more risk fighting Rumble.

Rumble KO'd Glover Teixeira, Alex Gustaffson and Ryan Bader. And soundly beat Phil Davis. Who the fuck has Thiago Santos beat? Not only would Rumble knock Santos head into the nosebleeds, I think Rumble would have a good shot of beating Jones. DC's wrestling is much more explosive than Jon's. I think Rumble could have stuffed Jones TD attempts and either KO'd Jones, or would have gassed trying to knock him out and fought him to a decision.

It's a moot point though either way, because Rumble would have to amputate both legs to make 205 again.

Jon Jones, the fighter so good he doesn't actually need to fight his biggest tests.

Santos and Jones and Walker Destroy Rumble. Sorry bud. He hit hard and beat a bunch of slow twitched guys.. that is really it.. when he fought someone explosive and fast like Vitor who he outweighed btw, he couldn't hang standing.
Imagine a Santos, Walker or Jones. Foegetaboutit

No. Rumble would have whooped Santos and Walker.

His loss to Vitor is irrelevant, that wasn't LHW Rumble and his striking has improved leaps and bounds since then.

The fact that you mention the Vitor fight just shows how poor your judgement is.

Huh ?? Rumble has beaten much better fighter than Santos and Walker lol. Wtf are you talking about.

Rumble has nothing for Jones, or any other top LHWs or HWs for that matter. Flashy power and randomly killing few guys "better" than him doesn't negate the horrible flaws he has that have made him a very mediocre fighter his entire career.
