That was a great time for MMA, such a great rivalry and genuine beef. One of the very few genuine beefs in the sport. Even today in 2023 Cormier is still fuming and grinding his teeth every time Jones name comes up, he tries so hard to keep it in but I can see it still haunts him and hurts him badly.

This might be a long shot, but I will not be shocked if Cormier came back for 1 more fight against Jones, because this time it will be at HW and he will convince himself in his mind that the LHW cut was hampering him and things would be different. Cormier is still haunted by it all, he can't have closure. I think for everyone else he is retired, but if there was 1 matchup that would make him mad it would be Jones but this time at HW.

Jones tweeting at him after the Gane fight saying Cormier was dreadful on commentary on his fight and is hurting.. just made me think that Cormier will be getting that itch, he is still fuming inside

Oh yes, I will catch that for sure!. On the weekend I am going on a fishing trip.. always love a good relaxing fishing trip on the river. Very nice. I never eat or cook them or nothing like that haha, I always put them straight back into the water, I just do it for the relaxation, its one of the best stress relieving things to do.
