Ronda, Conor, and Fucking Rockhold got to believeing that they were invincible, and that was their downfall.

Although I think Ronda started to see reality before she got in the cage with Holly. I felt, from the moment I saw her weigh in shenanigans, that she was TRYING to believe the hype on that one, but she couldn't fool herself.

It's kinda interesting, it seems that jones has a similar attitude to GSP when it comes to mental preparation. All nerves and a bit of fear fuels him.
 
He also hates Big Jon Mcarthy

 
Ronda, Rockhold and Conor are recent proof, it's what seperates them from the GSP's and Jones's

Big John yelled at Jon multiple times in multiple fights after one eye poke but he stays on Jon about his finger position after the first foul even if there isn't another foul and he just yells at him like some shitty coach. "Watch those fingers Jon!" "I told you to keep your fucking hands closed" and a bunch of other stuff and it sounds like they have had words outside the cage too. There is no place for that, no one pays to see the ref they pay to see the fighter. Big John should warn Jones on the first eye poke that if he does it again he'll take a point and then follow through. Don't yell at the dude when he's trying to fight and not fouling just because he had an initial foul or has a habit of fouling in that way. Take control by taking a point on the second foul.

This. Just shut the fuck up and ref. Warn for the first foul and take points away for the rest and move the fuck on but stop fucking talking so much.

The extended hands also allow grabbing and hand fighting. For Jones example see Suga fight.

They can block someones vision and distract them. Big John just needs to warn for the first foul and take points from them on he needs to shut up.
