Jones submitted 14 supplements for testing, but none were actually tainted...yet he still got off

Well he won't change because the juice, no pun intended, is worth the squeeze.
The Bork situation is even worse; he straight up got rewarded with a title fight for cheating. At least Jones had to do some song and dance before the money changed hands.
This stuff just kills my interest. At least with Pride, everyone could juice up to their heart's content and go smash each other like putty colored Hulks. There was nobody abusing a testing system to get an advantage out of it that was unavailable to others.
Biased testing enforcement is shameful. It's even worse than fixing fights imo. At least there, both contestants are on the same page, even if the rest of us are getting hoodwinked.

I knew something fishy was up when USADA released an official statement that they don't take bribes... in response to the Jones accusations, just one week ago:

In a written statement, USADA spokesperson Danielle Eurich told MMAjunkie, “In relation to some media and social media comments we have observed, USADA wishes to clarify that under no circumstances do we receive payments as part of the resolution of cases.”

USADA declined any additional comment on the status of Jones’ case.

Weird, I didn't hear USADA say anything about tainted supplements - so what is the point of this thread?

With the case of Yoel Romero, the supplements were actually tainted... Yoel submitted his supplements for testing including a sealed box (if I am not mistaken) and USADA verified that it was indeed tainted.

In this case, Jones cannot use the "tainted supplements" defence because the supplements he submitted weren't tainted at all.
Yes somehow, USADA let him off the hook.

What is really weird is that this is now an argument for "See it wasn't his fault, the supplements were tainted" - but when the same thing happened to Jon last time, people called bullshit. Jon gave them dick pills, they tested them - they were tainted. USADA ordered the same dick pills, they showed up in a sealed box, they too were tainted. But you boners still cried bullshit, claiming Jon cheated the system some how.

Be consistent folks.

This is fake news.

The dick pills Jones submitted, were not consistent with the banned substances they found in Jones.

On top of that, the receipt had a banned substance on it, if I'm not mistaken.

Your revisionist history is weak.

The dick pills Jon submitted had the two identical banned substances that he tested positive for.
USADA ordered the same pills and they had the same two banned substances that Jon tested positive for.

Jon Jones tested positive for Clomiphene, and Letrzole. USADA ordered the same pills from "AllAmericanPeptides.com" the same site Jons training partner ordered them from. USADA received pills Identical to the pills Jon handed over. They tested both the pills Jon gave them, and the pills that were shipped to him. Both were contaminated with Clomiphene, and Letrzole. Calling it fake news doesn't just change history, sorry.

Hope this helps.

Jon used some David Blaine Street Magic on them.

Jon Jones is blessed.

This is bullshit. Revisionist history. Nice try kid. The submitted pills were not consistent with what Jones tested for. The ruling was that there was no valid grounds here that Jones used tainted supplements.

If @dimspace cares enough, perhaps he would explain it to you. Or, you know, use the fucking search function and read up what's been broken down plenty of times so you don't come off as an idiot with a mouth full of Jon Jones in you

fucking christ. have you not read any of the reports.

the 30 month reduction in his penalty has NOTHING to do with his guilt or innocence, nor his degree of fault.

He was given a 30 month reduction because he is co-operating with USADA in identifying other anti doping policy violations.

How can you have got all the way through today without understanding why Jones was given a reduction?

the pills they bought also all contained tamoxifen

yet no tamoxifen was found in any of jones urine samples.

hope this helps

So in order to get a slap on the wrist by USADA, you gotta rat out the juicers? This is legit stupidity. If Jones can't back up his claim and show the tainted supplement in question he should get a fucking suspension.

While it is all a mystery, I think the biggest question would be, why would he use on the eve of the fight fully knowing he's going to be tested after the fight. That doesn't make sense, no matter how dumb you are.

Wow, who put that sandy dildo up your ass.

You're going to justify a technicality they used to reduced the sentence more than half? essentially a technical cover for 30 months reduction... being 'cooperation'?

You should learn to talk with less arrogance in your tone.

Thanks dimspace... when you're not busy being a cunt, you're actually a very informative guy. thank you

It's a really bad look for USADA, the UFC, and the sport in general

Without question.

There is no tainted supplement defense if supplements he used weren’t tainted.

To make things worse, he is a repeat offender, yet gets a slap on the wrist while other fighters are getting two years or more in some cases.

How much did nick get for the reefer?

5 years iirc

Mir got 2 years, Lawlor got 2 years, Machida got 2 years with minor reduction, Jones got zero tests in 9 months then gets a massive 30 months reduction for some bullshit snitch reasoning. All the while you got WADA reinstating corrupt as fuck RUSADA "in the spirit of compromise aka $$$" and confirmed USADA shill @dimspace defending USADA's every move calling it "by the book" and for the "greater good". SMH what a bunch of clowns.
