Media Jones "Smith was in the fetal position...."

I think his style's kind of petty, but I prefer this over the fake good guy.

This is better, for sure. I’ll take any version of Jon besides the fake Christian or salty Jon that was literally in tears when the world anointed Khabib GOAT after the Gaethje fight.

Maybe there's truth to that "Jones fights to level of his opponent" thing, but him taking credit for Santos ligament tear is lolworthy. He almost lost that fight and Santos fucked up his own leg. Then he lost the Reyes fight in my mind. He also couldn't take Reyes down.

Adesanya is the best striker in the sport and just as tall as Jon, I'd have him beating this 2021 version unless he showed something different. The path to victory vs Francis is clearer, although it's also a more dangerous fight in terms of getting KTFO.

1. Santos and Smith are not MWs. And I am one of the ones who believe Jones fought MWs in his career. Like Machida, Vitor, Chael, Rashad.... fights where you could clearly see the height and frame difference, it looked like the bigger brother was fighting his smaller brothers. But Santos and Smith are not small guys at LHW, like Shogun is for example.

2. I do believe he beats Jan who is nothing special.

3. I do believe he ran from a rematch with Reyes, who beat him clearly. Reyes is just a better boxer than him and has a good takedown defense. Sure, he lost to Polish One Potato Power, due to KO power, but Jones doesn't have KO power.

4. The "Santos couldn't walk on his both legs" is hilarious if you remember the first Gus fight, where Jones was carried out.

5. The fact that he couldn't finish Smith is weird and embarassing.

6. No comment about the potential Francis fight, since we don't know if the reason is money or just plain ducking. I assume he will wait until 2022 to fight if Stipe beats Ngannou in March.

Unless Jon has found a way around USADA that doesn’t involve hiding under a cage, I expect him to lose to the first heavyweight he faces. Stipe, Ngannou, Curtis Blaydes, Overeem, it doesn’t matter. Jones hasn’t been the same since USADA, except in his second fight with DC, which he tested positive for.

I think he’s looking for a big money fight before he loses and then loses his mystique. That’s why he’s moving up to heavyweight. If he’s going to lose he wants to get paid and say he faced the the best heavyweight of all time or the scariest guy in the UFC, rather than some random LHW or a middleweight that moved up to LHW.

I bet those same "fans" say khabib is ducking.they wouldn't say it to jon in person.

Khabib isn't close to being the GOAT, you kiddin? Fedor, Silva, GSP, Jon and Aldo all all rated over Khabib.

Professional analysts > sherdog analysts

Sorry
Like being a professional sports anal-ist means a flying fuck. We ain't talking about nuclear reactors or anti-gravity propulsion here, but a fucking game that little kids play. Again if Khabib could have actually defended his title half as much as some of the real goats, then he would have to be in the discussion. But instead he ran away after 3 defenses. Not even close to GOAT material.
