1. Jones beat himself to lose the title, there are consequences to his actions and that was his.
2. He beat a monster named Anthony Rumble Johnson who Jon hasnt fought and actually ducked fighting by letting his subconscious fears of that Rumble power steer him into another car and flee the scene. He made DC go and deal with that beast and he did.

John Jones can do better than this

Jones doesn't need to talk trash, this is real talk. Jones wasn't beaten for the title, he had to give it up. And Cormier is a paper champ, keeping the belt warm.

I have nothing against Cormier. I wanted him to crush Jones in the first match. But ever since then he has just become a crybaby, and I doubt it'll stop after Jones clowns him again.

I like that and I would love for it to be true in the record books too. Although I did think Jones stole the fight in the last round (maybe the 4th too, don't remember), I would have loved to see Gus take the W. Still looking forward to the rematch, but Gus needs to get a string of Ws together.
