Jones 21-1
Finishing rate: 72% (9 KO/TKO, 6 Sub) | Height: 6' 4" (193 cm) | Reach: 84"

OSP 19-7
Finishing rate: 73% (9 KO/TKO, 5 Sub) | Height: 6' 3" (190 cm) | Reach: 80"

Jones (15-1 UFC | 9 Finishes, 1 DQ Loss ) vs. OSP (7-2 UFC | 6 Finishes (4 Legit finishes, one injury win and one technical win))

Jones can't handle a guy his own size...I'll bet on OSP.

Huge under dog.

Jones has been out for a while, he could lose...and OSP has some KO power with wrestling.

agree about KO, but wrestling is his weak point (see Glover and Bader fights)

Jones via wrestle fuck. It's an uninteresting match at this point.

Jones has walked through murderers row when LHW was a competetive division, and OSP is nothing but a UFC journeyman. He almost lost to Rafael Cavalcante. He has loses in his record against Ryan Bader and Teixeira

I will take any action that you are willing to place.

Almost lost to Cavalcante? is it a joke? He also almost TKO'd Teixeira and Glover is super durable and found a way to win. Bader was afraid to stand up with him

OSP has nothing for Jones at all, his takedown defense is pathetic, he gasses too. I am not interested in this fight at all. also the comparison means nothing because OSP fought much much weaker opponents. Its not a competitive fight. If OSP had good wrestling then it will be more interesting, but sorry I have seen him get taken down be really sloppy takedowns before and he still couldnt stop it.

OSP hurt his leg pretty bad, but Cavalcante was not sufficiently effective in capitalizing on that. But props to OSP for showing fight-heart there.

It is a option for the UFC, but more of last solution. I think they will look around for a HW bout before that horrible matchup.

Jones probably denies JDS, who also is in camp, and I don't know if Cain, who is very close in line for a HW-title fight, would accept "pound for pound #1", on this short notice, but I bet that Hunt will be available, he has stepped up short-notice earlier.

Jones has beaten over the hill blown up middleweights the first person he fought that didnt have such a reach disadvantage he barely got pass. Osp would have probably finished cavalcante if he didnt injury his ankle and despite the injury he still dominated him

OSP has a bubble butt, so there's that

Jones via wad

I don't think there is any chance UFC will remove JDS from his fight with Rothwell because that has been hyped big in Croatia and its their first fight there. Hunt is a real possibility, and yes agreed 100% Hunt would take the fight, he wouldn't give a shit who it is.. and his takedown defense has improved a lot over the years, he is hard to get down these days, I would take it over OSP for sure.

I think they would if both fighters wanted it, but since Jones probably won't, it will not happen. PPV-events are way more important, it's not like replacing a Miocic or a Cro Cop from a croatian event, that would be out of fucking question. UFC is from a economical perspective a PPV-company.
