Jones has been #1 P4P ever since AS lost and GSP retired. Like...its not even a question. I've seen all kinds of guys come and go since Jones has been champion. Cain, JDS, Aldo, Benson, Pettis, Barao, Dillashaw, Weidman, Hendricks...all of these guys were being argued as p4p best at some point.

Mouse is a beast and should get more love for sure, but p4p ignores the fact that Jones outsized 99% of LHW's....if jones was a BW he'd still be a beast p4p. If Jones goes to hw he'll still shit on most the division. Jones is good regardless of reach advantage.
 
He always was. It was dumb for them to take him off the list, just because he does stupid shit doesn't mean he's not the best fighter in the world.
 
Aldo had more defenses in a deeper, tougher division against a higher quality of opponents so was rightful #1, but after he lost it seems fair that Bones would go to #1.

lol idk about bigger than 99% ... the whole top 10 is relative to his size. he is just that much better than everyone. and stylistically he is a nightmare for anyone at any weight.
Taller, longer, with a huge grappling advantage, and a standup advantage in 99% of his fights. like you said, if he was at BW, his skills make him p4p #1

Lol, no. If you genuinely go by a fighters skill set it is Demtrious Johnson, and it's not even close. Fuck, he was beating guys way bigger than him before they made the flyweight class. People may not like him because he's small and "boring", but he'd tool anyone in the ufc if they sized up...Jones included.
 
Now? I'm pretty sure that was solidified when GSP walked away and Anderson got Chris'd.

A 6'5' 84'' Conor McGregor would destroy Jones. A 5'9'' Jones would also get destroyed by McGregor. Jones is nothing without his height and reach advantage.
