title says it all, do you guys see Jones having the same cardio he had before or will he gas earlier? He's won fights in the championship rounds in the past if he gets tired it could spell trouble

This may be an interesting factor in the fight, especially if Cormier comes in with better cardio than he did the first fight.

That, and how the lay-off may effect Jon's timing.

He is 6'4 fighting a 5'11 man.

This will only happen when he fights Gus again. Cormier will not make a much bigger man than him gas.

I don't see him gassing out. Everyone keeps making a big deal about his size. Sure, he was put on some muscle, but it's not like he is going to be so huge that he'll fatigue fast. He's still fighting at 205

Well, he will have to cut down to 205 no matter what. I worry more about DC's preparation and game plan.

I was thinking about this not long after Mcgregor lost. With all that extra muscle and the long lay off, it could be a major factor in the fight. He's had the extra muscle for a lot longer then mcgregor did so his body has had more time to adjust and get his cardio up to scrap. Only bones knows

DC seemed to have better cardio in the Gus fight. Though I don't know in the first Jones fight how much his gassing had to do with body shots or him over-exerting in the clinch.

All of those big muscle videos were a while ago, I haven't seen any recently so he might be leaning out for this fight.

Jon's weightcut wont be as easy and his new body should be better for the first round but after that DC will go to work. DC has perfected his takedowns, should strike the body more and will have the judges on his side if its close.

DC will defend and the big book of Jon Jones excuses is sure to be a best seller.

A lot of interesting questions around this fight.
1. What will Jon's cardio be like with all the extra size/muscle?
2. Will Jon suffer from ring rust?
3. Will DC's cardio suffer since Cain is injured and can't push him in his training camp?
4. Does DC have more confidence now that he's won and defended the belt?
5. Will DC be able to set emotion aside and focus on what got him to the show (wrestling)?

Interesting fight. I see Jones being victorious, but ring rust is no joke and DC has been active....

I would be more worried about how he takes punches rather than his gas tank. You can train cardio all day but you can't simulate getting cracked for the first time in a long layoff during camp. Btw no pun intended haha
