Jones normally has a big length advantage and really struggled with Gus who's around the same size, Brocks the same sort of length but 40lbs heavier.

I don't think Jones would do very well moving up in weight. His whole game revolves around using his reach. Style makes the fight. Jones beat DC and DC easily beat Gus but Gus gave JJ his toughest fight.
