I really hope the UFC keep Jones on. I've had enough of this at welterweight. Robbie is a great champ but I thought that by now the shadow cast by GSP would be long gone, but he still lingers, lessening the credibility of the WW champ simply by him being able to compete. I really couldn't care to see that again at lhw. DC said a lot this time around about just fighting for himself and not punishing Jon for his actions on behalf of the people, and I believe him. It's not just an angle to trash Jon, he genuinely wanted to make him pay for his actions and you could see this time around how he was much more collected without that pressure on himself, albeit he was rattled a little at Jones remarks but that's understandable considering he's his only loss.

More to the point though, Jon simply cannot be released. It's too easy for him. In a perfect world DC fights someone sooner rather than later, winning in dominating fashion then goes on to beat Jones to a pulp in a few months time, after Jones has been on an ankle tag with a USADA representative living in his house.

Jon Jones has fucked the UFC and MMA for the last time Amigo......You can't trust, or bank on this guy. He's done.

Of course they won't release him. But he will be sitting on the sidelines for 2 years. He will have lost 3 of his prime years because he is a drug abusing cheater.

Why not? lol
He broke the rules and will be out for up to 2 years anyway. The UFC will have no need to keep someone around that long.

It's a done deal for Jon. He's screwed himself for the last time. His suspension will be lengthy. I wish someone would pull Jon aside and tell him what's what but plenty of people have tried I guess. I'm not a fan of Jones Jones, but the guy needs help. Hopefully he gets it.

So keep him because he may come back in two years !?

He can't keep himself out of trouble for 6 months when he is aware of what he can't do...

Imagine him by himself without supervision...

Well that shouldn't be an issue since he's lost by DQ.

They have no need to cut him, he isnt the champion even. Have him sit out the suspension then reevaluate but I cant imagine they wouldnt still want him.

People don't forget about greatness. As you said GSPs return would still be huge. Lesnar 5 years later is headlining. Jones has never been a buyrate king but their is a large group of people who wouldnt dream of missing his fights still.

They should cut him, wait for the commission to ban him for 2 years because then he cant go anywhere else, if he goes to Japan/Russia and fights, he'll never get licensed again.

I want to see him in prison.
And cut.

He should have been sent to prison for the last incident but the $$$$ kept him out,

He'll be sat on rather than released. He'd be free to just go fight in Asia if he was released.

I bet he lingers on that defeat and studies it from time to time to make sure he dosen't lose in such an embarassing way ever again

I bet he did. He hasn't used 12 to 6 elbows again.

Steve Mazzagatti ref'd that Matt Hammil fight which gave jones that DQ loss, it's funny how he never ref'd another jones fight after that or else jones would have multiple losses by DQ by now.

Hey TS, Hamill said hi lol

Hey TS, Hamill said hi lol

It's funny how that 'win' over Jones and that 'loss' to Bisping are Hamill's biggest legacies in MMA. They should change his nickname to 'The Asterisk.'

He lost against Matt fucking Hamill and should have lost against Alexander Gustafsson if the judges weren't corrupt. gtfo
