I really hope the UFC keep Jones on. I've had enough of this at welterweight. Robbie is a great champ but I thought that by now the shadow cast by GSP would be long gone, but he still lingers, lessening the credibility of the WW champ simply by him being able to compete. I really couldn't care to see that again at lhw. DC said a lot this time around about just fighting for himself and not punishing Jon for his actions on behalf of the people, and I believe him. It's not just an angle to trash Jon, he genuinely wanted to make him pay for his actions and you could see this time around how he was much more collected without that pressure on himself, albeit he was rattled a little at Jones remarks but that's understandable considering he's his only loss.
More to the point though, Jon simply cannot be released. It's too easy for him. In a perfect world DC fights someone sooner rather than later, winning in dominating fashion then goes on to beat Jones to a pulp in a few months time, after Jones has been on an ankle tag with a USADA representative living in his house.
