Yep. Hunt couldn't land a KO punch on Brock, a guy with less than 10 MMA fights and a 5-year layoff. Jones is faster than Brock, with better footwork, and has an entire arsenal of kicks to keep Hunt away. I'm pretty sure a HW, 230-poundish Jones would take down Hunt, too. Heck, Mousasi (a MW who's an average wrestler) did. Granted, Hunt's TDD improved since then, but he's also much older and slower.

There's a difference between overpowering, which is what I was alluding to, and tripping. Jon can trip him for sure, but he has to risk getting knocked out in order to do so.
 
The flabalanche that is Mark hunt would actually have to hit the goat Jon Goat Jones in order to knock him out. The goat Jon Goat Jones would be too fast and agile for Mark hunt to even get close to him.
 
That lunging left hook that Cormier landed over and over on jones is hunts specialty. Hunt would likely knock jones out. It would certainly be a test to see how good jones chin really is
 
I don't know but Mark Hunt is no Daniel Cormier.

If Jones lets him inside range he might see the lights.
 
I'd give it to Jones honestly. He'd fight long and take no chances and coast to a win. Kill is the wrong word though because I'm positive Hunt would walk through it all and just walk forward the entire fight though too slow to catch Jones.

50-45 Jones by UD would be my guess. Of course if Hunt does land a single punch, it might be lights out Jones.

I guess I could see Jones landing a spinning back elbow though that could hurt Hunt but thats pretty much the only way I see Jones finishing Hunt.
 
The 205 version of Hunt would lose to Jones. Heavyweight is a different kind of beast
 
compared to the monsters hunt has faced in his career jones fight would be fairytale. im not saying jones wouldnt win, but what is hunt supposed to be scared of? beating haha i dont think so
 
Mark Hunt loses to elite fighters as a rule, throughout his career, then and now.

He's a peoples champ, but not realistically competitive at the top, he loses all those fights and he's lost them by stoppage.

Jones via whatever he wants.

What Mark is saying, is Jones is a cheater. No one can dispute Mark's right to say that, because he competes clean and guys like Jones and Brock have failed PEDS tests.

Hunt has every right to call those guys out for cheating.
