that is why Gane is in on it...nothing can be left to change ....watch Gane's fight IQ completely fall off a cliff in this fight LOL....he got "that take a dive money" as well as other assurances.

Way to go out on limb saying one of the greatest fighters ever will win, shocking. Francis coming back at some point is completely plausible. I'm not sure the boxing money will be where he wants it and there isn't any MMA org that is paying what the UFC was offering. Maybe the PFL does some odd deal like they did with Paul to get Francis signed by giving him a small cut of the company's new PPV series. But I'm not sure that will equal to big dollars. Maybe Francis will prove us all wrong and he really isn't about the money at this point.

All this in your mind is to set up a big PPV event a year down the road or whatever. How about this, Jones could've fought for the UFC 4 or 5 times in the last few years and the UFC could've made 10 of millions of dollars off him, him and Francis could've fought and maybe its trilogy or at least two fights making tens of millions for the UFC over this time. But in your mind lets figure out how to not make crazy money for a few years, hope everyone doesn't get hurt, hope no one retires, hope nothing bad happens to someone, etc etc all to set up a big event to make coin once when you could've been making coin multiple times at a large level every single time over the course of a few years. Sounds, like great business plan.

Not everything is conspiracy theory, just because you can twist things around to make it look like one. World isn't black and white.

The conspiracy theorists who said Jones would never fight at Heavyweight are about to be proven wrong. Unfortunately, your logic will only be proven wrong (to you) if Jones loses. So this post is kind of pointless.

I never said he would not fight at HW check my past posts....The fact that after 3 years out of the blue he decided to take the fight is a red flag....it's ok if you don't see what I see....hey for what's it's worth I used to believe in Santa and the easter bunny too at one time LOL
 
I dunno, if I'm UFC I'd want Gane to win, since he makes less money than Jon and actually fights instead of sitting out for years. I get the optics are bad if the UFC HW champion is someone who lost to a fighter who is outside of the UFC. But UFC doesn't care about optics at all. Only profit margins and promotional stability.
 
I don’t think current UFC fights are fixed, despite the utterly terrible judging and reffing at times. Gane is not Ngannou but it is a way better win than old, worn out Stipe. If Jones beats him and wins the belt, it puts him in a whole new level of greatness. I don’t like him nor I dislike him but despite knowing he’s a compulsive cheater, he’s a brilliant fighter and adding a hw belt to all his past accomplishments would be an amazing achievement.

I would argue the UFC wants Jones to lose to reduce his power and to humble him but we will see
