Jon Jones will move to HW when the talent is depleted...

When JDS is even more of a wreck in 1-2 years.

When Cain is wrecked do to injuries.

When Werdum is retired do to old age or just plain old.

Look at the HW landscape, there are basically no up and coming talent in the foreseeable future. I definitely see a "pocket" in time with extremely little talent and very old talent that will make it easier for JJ to conquer this weight class in 2-3 years.

How exactly do you know this?

He ran thought the most dangerous division in MMA history......and now the haters want to cry that he's ducking the weakest division in the company.

Boy I knew the tears would be flowing after he dispatched DC 4 rounds to 1 but my goodness you guys are taking the butthurt to a whole new level!

I am personally LOVING this shit! I can't believe the contortions hate can create in the Sherdog soul. It's hilarious. Jon has the best resume in the UFC, fought the toughest opponents but he's running from Big Country and zombie JDS now.....

I think it makes sense for JJ to stay at LHW. IMO, he doesn't have to go up. I think he should keep on setting records there. However, the best talent at HW is peaking now, IMO, and a fight with JDS/Cain/Werdum is not as interesting in 3-4 years as it is atm, IMO.

I haven't seen or heard of any HW talent of these guys caliber at all. There doesn't seem to be any interesting prospects we could look forward to clashing JJ in the future ATM.

Personally, I think JJ will retire undefeated, but I'd like to see him fight his adversaries when he's at his best and when they are at their best, that is all I guess.

Just posted something like this in another thread actually. Lol.
But yeah, I agree. It's not just the UFC HW division, its the HW division as a whole. There's nothing on the horizon.

Couple years down the line, it's ripe for the picking

I would actually really love to see Struve vs Jones.... just for the Pride Freakshow aspect of it.
