Dana said he want's this, Jones said he want's this (screwing DC is a bonus), Stipe is not thrilled to fight the DC poke machine (though Jones has a poke game as well) and he is supposedly fighting someone he has "not beaten before". If Jones beats Reyes, this seems like a lock.

Stipe is VERY strong in the clinch, great at closing distance, great boxing, lets assume his chin is not the Struve/DC1 edition (it shouldn't be), what does Jones do ? The poke game probably wont work, wrestling DC style also shouldn't work... Leg kicks, circle the outside for a point game ?

Call me crazy, but I favor Jones in a potential match up. People love to say how Jones has lost a step or 2, but stipe has looked rough, not only in defeat, but in victory as well. Jones and coaches will come up with a game plan. Will it work? I don't know. But I think stipe is very beatable.

is it though ? Those fights weren't really close, PED's aside. While Stipe vs DC needs a rubber match, Jones beating Reyes makes the Stipe Jones fight a much bigger draw.
