Jon Jones loves to attack Daniel Cormier about his "psychology" and "making excuses".

However, there was a time when Jon Jones (HEALTHY) pulled out against a fight versus Chael Sonnen. With guys like Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz being heralded as "true" fighters for taking fights on short days notice against any opponent---was Jon Jones being smart or was he mentally weak to not take that fight against Chael? Also, If Jon Jones is "unprepared" for a fight--is that the weakness to his own psychology in the Octagon?

Told the UFC to suck his dick, boss move

and blame Hendo for keeping the injury a secret

He is no Conor.
You're right, he doesnt tap

Smart.

Jones aint no dancing servant for Dana White.

Plus Conor (and Sonnen) can take losses and it doesn't affect their employment or popularity so they get the privilege of fighting anyone without any consequences. Most other UFC fighters dont have that privilege.

Yeah yeah whatever about that but I googled dc and nothing is coming up about his injury. Please I'm reaching out. Is he hurt? Only the shit site whose name I will not utter is showing anything.

On topic it was smart. He's the champ. It means something and he shouldn't just have to fight a late replacement. Even if it would have been an easy defense.

i keep seeing threads that DC is injured and pulled out of 197 can anyone shed some light on this rumor?

Maybe hurt his legacy a bit, and exposes where he's at mentally to a degree. But ultimately, it was Jon/Greg's decision to make. I will add, though, that among the other three fighters generally in the GOAT conversation, does anyone think any of them(and if so, who) would have not taken a fight, off of a full camp, against a fringe top 5 a weight class below, who's coming in on two weeks notice, in order to save a card? Serious question.

He won't fight Rumble if Cormier is indeed injured.

Fuck Dana.

It was smart. People can call Conor and Diaz "true" fighters if they want. Nobody calls them the GOAT. Conor took the Diaz fight on short notice, lost, and now people question his BJJ, his cardio, his heart and his future above 155. His next PPV will tell us if it has affected his drawing power (aka his money).

Whats the story?!
I saw a thread earlier about it with no source. I googled it and nothing but he looked hurt at a wrestling tournament. I dont want to cause a shitstorm but I want to know if I'm still ordering 197.

I saw that too. Right on

It was smart. More fighters should learn from Jones. This is their careers. There's a lot riding on it. especially when you reach the top of the game.
