Jones says a potential fight with Francis would make him reconsider retiring after the Stipe fight

Says Pavlovich reminds him of Glover or Rampage. Doesn't seem interested in fighting him

Jones is in New Zeland but doesn't have any plans on seeing Izzy. Feels his legacy is much better than Adesanya's and has no interest in fighting him

Biggest duck of the century.
Pav just nuked the guy that was perceived as the best wrestler in the division while rampage was wrestle fuckable by yur grandma by the time jon fought him. Jon knows dana already said Frank is never coming back to the ufc and Jon never would have come back to the UFC himself if Frank never left.

MMA math says Pav is the most dangerous fight for jon and probably more than Frank considering Frank’s age, inactivity, knee issues, and losing to Derrick and derrick is derrick. A lot of people think Gane beat Frank so the theoretical mma math is pav>gane>francis…Pav auto passes Gane in rank by plooking people that almost KOed gane…so this is the biggest duck in the history of humanity if jon doesnt fight pav

Sure Jon. He had plenty of opportunity to move up to fight Ngannou, but only decided to move up after Ngannou left the UFC. Now he claims that he pause his retirement you fight Ngannou?

<YeahOKJen>

At this point he is more likely to fight Izzy than Pavlovich. It probably will not happen but in terms of super fight money it is the biggest fight for Jones. Both men dislike each other.

They were literally in negotiations to make the fight. Francis chose to leave the UFC entirely instead. The Gane fight was then made.

I’ll go make some popcorn until Izzy’s butthurt reply gets posted online.

Jones said Pavlovich is similar to Glover? Right… Glover’s a KO artist wiping out opponents in the 1st round left of right. Clearly, Jones don’t want that smoke and is using these lame comparisons to avoid a matchup with the Russian.

I hope that Jones fight Stipe and retires and Pavlovich becomes champ for a long time. If that happens, Jones will never hear the end of ducking Sergey.

It's worth noting that he recognized the importance of money, and I agree that taking on Pavlovich involves a high risk with little potential reward. He explicitly mentioned that he would consider the fight if the UFC presented a compelling offer. In my opinion, as long as the compensation is appropriate, I don't see any reason why the UFC wouldn't be able to finalize this fight.

I like how honestly in these and giving Izzy props even. I think Jon finally speaks what he thinks and gives zero fucks how it is perceived.

Yeah he's under no obligation to seek out the highest risk, lowest paying fight lmao. After a long career fighting pretty much everyone. You guys sound so entitled.

I could see him coming out of retirement to fight Izzy since he has a huge weight advantage grappling and would make a lot of money by doing so. Low risk/ very high reward

I'm disappointed, Jack...is the UFC paying you for this promo piece?

jon will only be "interested" in an Ngannou fight until Ngannou comes back.

nice greenscreen work dwight.

nobody would've guessed .... that was from under the octagon.

<JennieThumbsUp>

3 years dodging Francis. Confirmed.

Shame for fans.
Jones HW belt means very little given the open business talk, as opposed to actually being the best HW. But having 1 or 2 HW wins enhances his total career. The same as Silva LHW wins and GSP MW win.
As long as people can accept that the belt does not define the best, then they will see sense.

Whilst I am gutted that his HW career was no career at all, he is clearly (to me) the most total skilled LHW of all time. But it stops there.

True 2 divisions champions are still an elusive, illusion.
