Jon Jones' New Addiction

You bro scientists are amazing.

If cocaine were really performance enhancing, don't you think that WADA, USADA and the athletic commissions would list it as a banned substance out-of-competition?

But I'm sure that your homeboy from the gym knows better than the top doping experts in the world.

Calm down, I didnt say I knew. Cocaine should be banned either way, just like meth and heroine and various other drugs. As for cocaine, I've seen guys use it, before football games and working out and they kill it on the field or in the gym. I dont know if it has an impact, but it looks like it does. WADA, USADA don't let you smoke weed either, what enhances your performance there? They are flawed too, dont act like they are perfect.

Is it? Because many genetically gifted people from all colors can get built pretty fast. Its the ones who are not genetic freaks who use roids. The ratio of black and white fat asses is pretty equal don't kidd yourself just to build some confidence...

Hes just repeating the social programming of the conspiracy by "progressive" leftists, cultural marxists and their sjw useful idiots to turn all whites into lames and racists and to shame with white guilt while simultaneously building up blacks as a superior race that are cooler, more alpha, more muscular with bigger dicks that started in the early 2000s and progressively got bigger with things like mtv.

Calm down friend, that was just a lame ass attempt at a joke.

If you've ever trained you'd know that it releases these feel good chemicals in your brain called endorphins that actually have a slight opioid like effect, the feeling that you get from the chemical release can become quite addicting TBH.

You seem to be confused about the distinction between "in competition" and "out-of-competition" protocols.

Narcotics, including weed, are not banned by the doping agencies out-of-competition. In competition is defined as the time period immediately before and after the fights when pre and post-fight drug tests are administered. Narcotics are banned in competition for safety reasons due the detrimental effects that they can have on a fighter's health and ability to perform not because they are performance enhancing.

Jones tested positive out-of-competition and passed the in competition tests. That's why there's still an official win on his record. So irrespective of whether or not cocaine is performance enhancing immediately after you snort it, there was none in his system when he fought Cormier.

If you are talking to me, I already knew that, it's why I stated it in the original post. I really think he took his addictive personality and brain chemistry and gave that to training. He is going to be unbelievable in this fight and going forward. Watch the videos he's training cardio, strength, and fighting technique. The kid is an absolute monster. Really thrilled to see him get in there with that extra power, conditioning, and new tricks he may have learned in his time out of the cage.

For all of you doubting his recovery from addiction or predicting his relapse. It's a shame you are so jaded. Jones has been very forthcoming about his recovery and relapse. If you guys have been paying attention you would have heard him say 5 months sober. So he started going to meetings and what not 14 months ago. He's being real about that. I think conjecture that leans toward him failing at sobriety is pretty horrible.

Lets hope so ... Kicking a habit like that is tough ... Need to surround yourself with good people who have good intentions ... His ego is the biggest thing he needs to get over .. When you accomplish so much so fast, your initial thought is say"why should i listen to these losers who havent accomplished shit". Hopefully he grows up

Its the small things like getting caught without his license and stuff ... Honest mistake? Maybe, but it could also be that feeling of not needing to conform ... Time will tell

I'm rooting for him, but that shit is uphill. The various scummy friends and hangers-on are just waiting to drag him down the second he starts making big money again.
This is what I'm thinking about.

It's easy to stay clean when the law is keeping tabs on him and he's hit rock bottom in his career. Once he gets back to the top, is off probation, and is in the spotlight again, that is when he'll have to battle his own inner demons. If he really was an addict, addicts need goals. His right now is getting his belt/career back. Once he has it, what will his goal be? Hopefully he already found something outside of fighting to keep him straight.

regardless of that poster's agenda, he is right

most of the time people lapse back into things over and over again
Yea normal people. Jon Jones isn't a normal person. Not claiming he's 100% clean and sober, but let shit play out before you judge.

why do you guys act like cocaine is such a big deal. more MMA fighters/athletes use it than you think

this isn't about judging. just a discussion on facts

and yea, jones isn't a typical case. he's done far worse than most people and more likely to crack again
