the big question is if jones would be able to survive those blows if he can then he coasts by with a submission or a decision.

Jones was on fire back then. I'd bet a chunk of change he'd submit him before the 3rd. There's always the puncher's chance, and Anthony certainly had it.

I don't consider opting out for bigger fights ducking in any sense.

Yeah I almost mentioned that in the thread about him ducking Rumble but couldn't be bothered. The guys were literally on stage scheduled to fight each other. "Ducking".
