That's one of the best MMA vids ever

He definitely had the greatest combination of talents. Height, Reach, Strength, Speed, Granite Chin, Grit, Cardio, Mental fortitude, long limbs, High level diverse skills, extremely coachable, fearlessness, and the ability to rise to the occasion.

He wasn't the pure athlete or disciplined professional that GSP was.

He wasn't as skilled or sharp as Silva.

He wasn't the big puncher that Fedor was, nor could he replicate the menacing aura that Fedor brought.

But he was a combination of all 3, he was the chosen one. The 22 year old version of Jon that crushed Brandon Vera in 3 minutes is the best UFC prospect ever and it's not even close.

He's arguably the only guy in history that you could put right into the modern UFC from day 1 right from college, right off the couch after watching some youtube vids. He had so many gifts it really didn't matter. You couldn't knock him out, you couldn't over power him, you could hardly even reach him, he was extremely durable and mentally tough, his wrestling background enabled him to take down anyone with little resistance even right from the start. And one of his most underrated traits, was his ruthlessness. He might poke you in the eye to put you in your place, he might rip your shoulder out if you gave him the chance, he had no issue stomping your knee into dust, he might disrespect you at the end of a round like this...

We won't see another like him, his insane reach alone puts him in Legendary one of a kind territory. No one has ever done what Jon has done, and for all of his fuck ups and short comings. The cold hard truth is that you need to be a crazy ruthless motherfucker to accomplish what he has. He had to grow up in not only the most ruthless organization in the world, but also in one of the most storied and prestigious divisions of all time.


But the craziest thing of all is that he never reached his full potential, he's fought 8 times in the last 7 years, he lost many dominant performances in what would've been his prime years.

He could easily be 33 years of age, with a 30-1(DQ)-1(NC) record. Hell if Dana was able to overturn his DQ, he would easily be something like 31-0-1 in MMA, which is ridiculous and utterly unattainable for 99.99999999% of MMA fighters who will or have ever competed in the sport.

Rampage- 33 years old was at the absolute prime in his career, only a couple years removed from unifying the pride and ufc light heavyweight titles by beating hendos ass comming off a dominate win against Matt Hammel, knocked liddel into next week his only legit loss was to Rashad which he did extremely well in and was gifted a decision against machida, while he was robbed out his title by forrest Griffen just a couple years prior, Jon dominated and kicked both his knees backwards in that fight

Machida - Walks around at 210 but is still a lightheavyweight and just came off a loss to shogun so basically just out of his reign as light heavyweight champion one of the most VICIOUS and fast strikers in mma history Jon finished him in the second by catching him with a jab taking him down and choking him unconscious in devastating fashion

Rashad - Fought as a heavyweight on the ultimate fighter and was extremely muscular in his youth Great boxing great wrestling a huge right hand that knocked chucks ass out like he flipped a light switch im his head off amd was in his absolute prime at on 33 years old got DOMIMATED THAT ENTIRE FIGHT

TRT Vitor Belfort - former heavyweight,, former light heavyweight champion, knocking guys out left and right mortal combat style beat Anthony Johnson, Luke Rock Hold Dan Hemderson and Michael Bisping back to back just a couple of .other after losing to Jon. Not to mention Bitor TESTED PSOTIVE for that fight with Jom for elevated levels of testosterone and he was still allowed to fight Jonz it was leaked in 2015 that the ufc covered it up and Jon STILL destroyed him

Chael Sonnen - started his career at light heavyweight, lmfao he fought forrest Griffen before they were famous, when did you start watching mma again? He looked like death when he use to cut lower just looks t the bisping fight his face was completly sucked out and he looked like he was starved.

Gustaffson- was at the prime im his career, Jon barely trained for the dude and still beat Gus outstruck him and dominated the last two rounds basically Gusses west night and Jon's worst performance and still beat his ass

Teixeira- seriously dude you just started watching mma didnt you Teixeria was a force to be reckon with when he came into the ufc he was on a 20 fight win streak and smoking blazing hot at the time he's doing well now but when Jon beat him he was the closest thing anyone could find to someone who could give Jon probpesm, Chuck trained Teixiera personally for Jon Jones and Jon won all 5 rounds

DC - prime in his career olympic wrestler had never lost a round, faster scrapper better technique at light heavyweight and rag dolled his opponents even easier ran into Jon and got dominated and taken down reputedly and had all but one his take downs stuffed

OSP- Chump change for Jom Jon.wom every round and OSP landed 2 punches lol

Daniel Cormier - even more game than before but still was getting outstruck landed more punches to the head but his wrestling was completly useless against Jon and he still got knocked out the third

Aleksander Gustaffson - just came off a brutal knock out of Tiexiera was a s game as ever Jon took the fight seriously and finished him in the second round

Smith - One sided utter domination, middle weight probably the only true middle weight on his resume

Santos - could have beaten him better but he won the fight (overly muscular middle wieght)

Reyes - lmfao missed most of what he threw when he "went for the finish" got his nose plastered on the other side of his face stayed on the back fook trying to counter and kept missing got dominated the last two rounds trying to run because he doesn't have the gas tank Jon has
