Jon Jones is defeinetly one of the GOATs, but like all fighters, he has flaws in his game

Boxing has always been his weakest link

The only fighter I could think of that had no flaws is

Of course I'm not saying his whole MMA game was perfect, but he knew how to do everything almost text book.

He was so ahead of the game that he took 4 years off, came back and won a belt in a higher division. Why? because he was still the best Mixed Martial artist

Got another belt against Bisping left the sport when he had to fight Whittaker. Also iirc he clearly lost to Hendricks. GSP is very well rounded, but his fights just aren’t memorable he has way too many decisions wins.

Thats silly. Serra hits like a truck + gsp admitted to overlooking Serra. The rematch proved gsp was the better fighter.

GSP is certainly GOATier then Jones.

What I would say though is that MMA is still young. Boxing as we know and think of it had been around and organised for several decades [to say nothing of its much older lineage, dating back centuries] before fighters we now discuss as potential GOATs came along. So GOAT discussion for MMA, while natural - and I enjoy it - is also premature.

GSP had Dan Hardly locked in several submissions and could not get the job done. He is a C level submission fighter who tried to rely on unnatural strength rather than proper technique to finish submissions.
