Jon Jones has problem fighting people his own size?

I have seen this statement quite a lot since the Gus fight. Watching the UFC countdown OSP said the same thing.

OK Jones and Bonner are the same height. Jones reach is 4 inches more. We all saw what happened in that fight. Keep in mind that Jones was also very inexperienced. Care to explain how he manage to rag doll someone his size in a fight he should have lost given his limited experience? Remember we are talking about Bonnar here and remember that they are the same size. Factoring in limited experience in cage fighting I remember Couture saying he feared for Jones because he thought Bonnar was going to "kill this kid". Why is it all of this is forgotten?

Well Bonnar isn't that good, so that probably had a lot to do with it.

Very true. Also, Jones just beat a former HW (who was undefeated in that division) that was undefeated and allegedly pushes Cain to his limits in practice.

i personaly dont believe it ... but if he is that worried about his legacy , fans and beeing the p4p GOAT and all ... why wouldnt he fight at his natural weigh class and shut the doubters the f*ck up?
i must confess im a sceptic and he does have unfinished businesses at LWH ... "after" that , i would expect the p4p GOAT to move to HW.

He does seem to struggle with people closer to his height. Or at least Gus.

OSP is close to his size, we will see how that plays out...

Neither has Gus, yet shertards never say anything about him or any other tall fighter.

Also Gus can't even get a top 5 win against smaller people.
