you are correct. i never thought silva was coming back after watching his leg shatter like that. i honestly dont watch a lot of fights live but did pay for that PPV. my buddies dad as there and that was not a good way to introduce him to MMA.

let him down more gently? How? Did you want him to keep the choke on while setting him on the ground? Every mother fucker here would have been going crazy if he held the choke even a half second longer than the ref said and tried to lower machida down gently?

I recall Machida was doing well yeah? I've always liked the whole martial arts spirit Machida brought to the game so for me it was a bit hard to watch.

Yeah I see your point but he couldve broke his fall a little by putting his leg up on the cage or something. Dont mind me Im just talking out my butt. Probably the irreverence of it towards a guy that would have done that if the shoe were in the other foot.
