Jon Jones declines Stipe fight

Right!! That’s the whole reason. Stipe is more well rounded and well seasoned with KO power.
These things dont need to be mutually exclusive. It’s not an appealing matchup, likely for many reasons.

Jon Jones’ coach says the former light heavyweight champion isn’t interested in fighting again unless it’s for the belt.

Honestly, I don't know if I'm right or wrong.....I just feel like this is a big duck. Beating a former champ is a path to the belt. Big payday. A legacy statement. I don't get why he wouldn't take it and instead wants to wait for a title shot. Then he prices himself out of the Ngannou fight knowing damn well that not even Conor gets $30 mil per fight. It just looks like he's ducking. At this point, I consider JJ irrelevant to MMA.

When you re one of the goats/former champ with multiple defences and probably the biggest ppv in Ufc (outside of conor)
How do you figure he’s the biggest ppv attraction other than Conor? With his biggest sell being 850K with DC as his opponent. Yet just since Covid some cards with the likes of Usman and Masvidal have reportedly sold over a million?

Jones fans literally make me ill. Without peds nobody in here would even know his name.

He’s the biggest duck in the company.

Smart.

Thats Stupid, just fucking fight someone already

I disagree.
The UFC does this all the time.
Masvidal, Usman and even Miocic disagrees with you as well. It worked out for them, why do you think it won't with Jon?
