Jon Fitch is headed to Bellator.

The promotion has signed the MMA veteran to an exclusive multi-fight, multi-year deal, MMA Fighting has learned. Fitch’s signing and debut is expected to be announced in the very near future.

Fitch (30-7-1) has won his last four fights in a row under the WSOF/PFL banner. He is the now former WSOF welterweight champion and leaves the promotion without losing the belt. Once WSOF was rebranded to the PFL, the promotion decided to vacate all its titles, prompting Fitch to ask for his release from the promotion, which was ultimately granted.

I hope Coker knows what's he doing cause this could be STRIKEFORCE in reverse so instead of going out of business and selling to UFC maybe he has game plan in effect .He needs more elite talent in Mousasi and Rory.They already have some built in talent and heavyweight division already interesting

WSOF is a good place for guys like Fitch and Shields. Fitch from 10 years ago could be competitive in current Bellator, but at age 40, he won't be able to handle the top guys. It doesn't help that WW is Bellator's most talented division, either. If he were a HW, Fitch could probably be a more effective version of Kongo

Decent signing, but Fitchs career is on its last phase. He will probably have a few fights against some of Bellaors bigger name guys like Daley, and retire after.

I read this and was like are you serious, FItch is never getting a title shot then i looked at state of the div and was like, uh he might get a shot with one win. Since Rory beat Lima and Larkin is only on a one fight win streak Rory will fight Koreshkov next but if Fitch goes out and beats someone like Daley he might get the next shot.

Either they would give it to him, Larkin on a one fight streak or MVP if he beats Rickles. Fitch would have a case for a title shot.

Good name and an overall good signing, but he could definitely stink the division up.

This means that Daley vs Fitch is pretty much a go. Are they going to throw this on Bellator 200? Can Daley stuff and KO Fitch? MVP vs Daley would lose a lot of its luster if Daley were to lose to Fitch. If he were to win however, then they could create a real angle for what would surely be one of Bellator’s more lucrative events.

Not really mad at this. He’s a name and definitely someone who can build up a rising contender. Imagine what Storley could do to this guy?

If they do Fitch vs Daley, I don’t see any way Daley wins that fight. Daley is putrid defensively with his wrestling. Even if he stuffs takedowns for the first round, you know Fitch is just relentless and will just grind him out and eventually will get him down. Daley just can’t wrestle. I don’t see why you would do that if you’re Bellator. Put Larkin rematch in London. Just don’t do Daley vs Fitch. Daley will not win that fight.

Fitch/Daley probably happens on the UK card and having MVP/Daley on same card not against each other in UK is a shit sandwich to fans.

Whether its Bellator not doing it, Daley or MVP not taking it, which every one is at fault they are screwing the fans over on this one.
