Rediscovered this when YouTube surfing.
He predicts these things....it seems unreal now to listen to him say that in 2013 and then see him in an orange jumpsuit with steel cuffs on.
I remember this time in the Bones criminal history saga, the discussion was whether or not he was fake and a seriously distasteful person behind his holier than thou christian image.
The media constantly bashed fans for trying to catch the supposed imposter in a lie, its sort of sad to think most people on here were in fact correct about it. It's not a race issue if the person in question clearly demonstrating unlikeable traits and behaviours. Here is one quote from the many examples (Pictured with Jones and the phrase "Often misunderstood") : Cage Potato wrote in 2012..
"Even if he did come off as honest, he’d still probably have to deal with critics who resent the fact that a young, bold, black athlete has had so much success." (Source)
You ever get the feeling everyone else has gone mad and can't see the wolf in the sheep clothing, obvious as anything? Fans, particularly my fine retarded Sherbrothers (self included), waited for a chance at redemption, to show everyone we were right about the guy. Its weird and as I said, a little sad to think that, without too much evidence, his path was fairly accurately predicted based on his attitude in those earlier years.
The car wreck was the first sign...Sherdog blew up, the cocaine sent the sites servers into meltdown, the hit-run-return and run further tested the network on here, each time this happened we kinda wanted to tell the media "I told you so".
Looking back at this interview and a lot of his fights today (extremely hungover) I wish we were wrong and this guy was the two division champion he should be, and easily, identifiably the GOAT. I love the shoops, and the fun of being right about the guy, but man I genuinely worry we might lose the GOAT to prison as it may be only a matter of time before he hurts someone on the road or worse. Beyond the laughs, what a shitty reality.
