Yea I've heard about this too. I think he rubbed some people the wrong way when he was coaching TUF too. He seems to be one of those low social skills, awkward people.

Nah he seems normal, the social skills you speak of is just a bunch of people being fake and pointless small talk. Real people don't care much for that. It's nothing about social skills, there is nothing normal about having to be social with strangers. That's an unnormal perception. See how his interactions are with people he actually knows. People confuse being fake and trying to be nice to everyone as social skills - it's not.

He does it when he needs to, like in the countdowns and meet and greets, plus all the media. He'll entertain it then. Anik did it off schedule at a bar after the fights. So he got a different response from Whittaker since he wasn't working and wasn't trying to worry about his work at the moment. Plus he was most likely drinking and didn't want to ruin his buzz lol.

Nobody here knows what Whittaker is really like. All we see is the act they put on for the cameras. Whittaker seems like a decent guy, although a bit smug.
