Johny Hendricks WILL NOT fight until he gets a Title-shot

Johny Hendricks is being such a fucking baby. Things didn't go my way so I'm refusing to fight. Grow up Johny! You aren't the champ so you're not calling the shots. GSP called out Diaz not you.

How did the battling with Dana work out for Fitch? If Hendrix stays firm and won't fight until its GSP I won't be surprised if he never gets one. If the fan pressure is too much that Dana can't help but give him one, he better hope he wins because he won't get another.

This is my reaction too lol. He should have a GSP themed training camp as if he is fighting in place of Diaz just in case.

Even cut weight on weigh in day to fill in for a no show lol.
 
Fighting GSP is a million dollar pay day, and if you win you set yourself for life. If he lost his next fight he'd be out of the title picture for a couple years at least. And given his antics, UFC will line up what they feel would be his toughest match-up stylistically and hope he is defeated for being a dick.

Bonnar V. Silva was made for the shits and giggles of watching the greatest fight again before the year is up.

Not because he had another fight and it fell through.

It was not so we could get a chance to watch Anderson move up to 205 and possibly become the 3rd person in UFC history to win a belt in more than one class.

It was not so we could watch Anderson Defend against another top contender ala Weidman who as you put it is "ready and willing."

sucks for hendricks, but GSP is the cash cow so what he wants he gets.

Don't blame him but he could be waiting for a while... What if GSP fought Silva, then Diaz first. That's be like a year or more on the shelf.

I'd like to see him fight Diaz or Condit or maybe the BJ/Rory winner in the meantime but waiting is probably the smart thing to do.

Hendo is also in his 40s. His chances at a title shot are in their last phase. Hendricks is 29, doesn't have the same legacy as Hendo so he can quit acting like a diva and keep fighting.
 
he should fight condit to keep active, nick diaz seat is always reserved and the spider is always in the picture anything can happen.
 
I dislike the trend, I prefer to think of the fighters like Chuck years ago when he fought Babalu instead of waiting out for a title shot. Earn that #1 contender slot!
 
Don't be so immature TS, you should know how the business of getting a title shot works with the fights they've been announcing recently. Big Rig may deserve it, but at the end of the day its all about the paper. I can also make a strong case for Diaz deserving it as well, and it'll draw alot more attention and the numbers it will bring in will be alot higher. Plus, less risk of GSP losing his king of PPV stature with a loss.
 
hendricks has a good case for the title shot but not clear enough that he should be sitting out.

Giving the shot to Diaz over Hendricks is utterly retarded and I am a Diaz fan more than a Hendricks fan.

There really should be some kind of consistency here. Nick LOST his title contender shot and hasn't fought since. I don't know how that translates to a title shot.

Meanwhile Hendricks has beaten 3 top 5(ish) contenders in Kos Fitch and Kampmann.

Putting Diaz ahead of Hendricks hurts UFC credibility imo.
 
He shouldn't be allowed the sit around, he's holding up the division.

If you fight and lose, you don't deserve the shot in the first place.
 
Normally I'm against fighters who sit out, but in this case I wouldn't blame Hendricks. He deserves that shot more than anyone. There isn't a more clear #1 contender in any other division.

He also failed a drug test on purpose, ruined a fight due to his personality, he retired.. A lot of reasons he shouldn't get a title shot.

Shit, Sonnen's title shot is more worthy then Diaz's.
