Johny Hendricks Looking Thick, Solid and Tight

He looks good but he needs to get serious all year round if he wants to be a real champion. You can't just coast when you get to the top, but he thought he could and it cost him.

I personally don't want to see him as champ again. Hope Matt takes it to him.

im gonna go out on a limb here and say id much rather look similar to this, than like yoshihiro. looking at johny, you'd imagine him doing something manly like fixing a fence or barbecuing steak. all i can imagine yoshi doing is wearing an icepack on his face while doing a thousand crunches

Hopefully he get's randomly tested. I never like the way he refused GSP's testing and that fight led to GSP retiring due to frustration with PED's in the sport.

Take that into account with Johnny's drastic ballooning of weight and massive variance in performance..

Im not saying he did/does it. But it's highly suspicious and warranting a test in my opinion.

I agree ...

he looks huge in that pic. i think hes gonna beast mode on brown.

still not nearly as good as when he first transitioned to MMA from wrestling. He looked like a real athlete then esp. without that stupid beard. It's never good to go the Roy Nelson route

now this is 'good'

Some people are hard headed. Surprising he got as far as he did considering he has admitted to basically not giving a crap about nutrition. I'm kind of excited to see him fight for the first time ever.

Yeah, but you would like to think a champion level fighter at 170LBs in the UFC would have the sense to get in shape sooner than the day before the fight.

Looks decent. Let's hope him not cutting as much weight will make him fight more aggressive and not try to nut ride the entire fight.

what. watch his last fight. he brought it to lawyer and made him a punching bag for all but the last part of round 5.

Yeah you would. I think becoming champ made him get a little too comfy. Losing that belt probably shocked his system and he's finally learning you have to stay the best year round, not just 6-8 weeks out from a fight.

Where is he fighting his next fight? Does the AC do random testing there?

Awww but i liked seeing hendricks step on the scale shaking like a Chihuahua and then celebrating like he won the belt after making weight.
