Johny Hendricks has two options. I say this AS A DIE-HARD fan. Please Johny...

I hope Big Rigg takes this fight as a final learning lesson and comes back with his motivation and fire...
How many lessons does one need? He missed weight against Woodley and that was for a shot at the title. He's blow a few opportunities and then comes in overweight, shaking so much the scale didn't register and he had to reweigh. Johny has alot to do if he ever wants to be in contention. For most people, the window is really small and if we are honest, maybe his window has passed...or along came USADA

YOu forgot the most obvious option. Go full Roy Nelson and just fight at heavyweight.

Final chance now.

Damb Usada and their fair and safer ways!

he wastes most of his time on the weight cut, rather than actually improving skills

hate to say it but I think usada ruined johnny

Guy looks like flabby and weak

Opinions are like assholes.

He beat everyone including GSP on his tear.

NO one aside from him and Robbie Lawler punch harder in WW history.
Including who? Funny, that comes up as an L on his record. Sorry but it doesn't really matter who you 'think' won.

I always thought is KOs were way overhyped.

The only good guy he KO'd was fitch.

His skillset is really not that good if you think about it.

His technical striking isnt that good.
He doesnt react well when getting hit.
Bad defense.
Takedowns arent that good, he's good at holding onto fighters legs.
Say what you will his win list is undeniable even if he is past it now: GSP, Condit, Lawler. Then the lesser wins over Kampmann, Fitch, Brown, Pierce, and Koschecks. Very few WWs will ever boast such a resume. The new breed hasn't gotten there yet such as Wonderboy and Rory. Someday maybe.

It probably wouldn't be a bad idea for him to invest some time at a quality boxing gym and learn how to set up that big left hand better.

(and also: Drop the fries, the drink -- and the burger. Have a protein shake, instead)

He can do it. He needs the fire back.

Btw, without his shit decision over robbie lawler, he would be 1-5 in his last 6 fights. He's 2-4 in his last 6 with a LnP decision over brown.

So you'll disregard that win, but wont disregard the bullshit loss to GSP where pretty much everyone thought Johnny won? Or the second Lawler fight where Robbie did nothing to actually win the fight, Hendricks just did more to lose the fight? 3-3 using your logic.

Stay in shape, diet better, and stay near 185 - 190 lbs instead of 210+

He needs to get his fire back. He needs to get his motivation back. This is what will ensure he is in shape.

HE HAS what only a few fighters in the UFC have, and that is eye-shutting power. He KNOWS how to punch.

This is something no one can be taught. He has that fighter in him, he has that ability to pull the trigger, commit to it and put any one standing in front of him to sleep.

But he must get his fire back...or.....quite simply, retire.

I hope Big Rigg takes this fight as a final learning lesson and comes back with his motivation and fire...

Don't let the power go to waste, sir...

You're wrong.

He needs to wrestle, his striking is not that good.

I'm far from a Hendrix fan but you really Believe he doesn't have a good skill set?. People are way to quick to judge a fighter. He went 5 rounds with gsp, 5 rounds with lawler and beat condit. He may not look good now but he was legit a few years ago.
