The guy has all of the key ingredients needed to be a decent heavyweight, which includes:

6’5 height
Barely a functional MMA game
Wins on pure athleticism and power
Not a round winner
Gets tired easily

Not to mention he wouldn’t have an insane weight cut, so maybe his chin would get better as well.

Easily one of the worst chins I've ever seen. His body frame is weird. Hed need to put on some mass for HW but I don't think it's a terrible idea as he should be much faster than most of them but again his chin is ungodly bad.

He should fight lower level fighters or not fight at all.

His inability to absorb strikes will never allow him to be near a titleshot. The best parts about him as a fighter are gone too. His explosive strikes are basically non-existent now.

So we can see him in the wrong end of spectacular KO's?

You could argue though LHW is actually a division were you need a chin more than HW I spose, LHW fights do tend to be more wars of attrition than HW on average so not having the chin to deal with that puts you in a worse position.

HW your dealing with big guys throwing with so much power that depending on your chin to win isnt likely to be as sucessful unless its amazing.

History does seem to show that glass canons can have more sucess at HW than they can at LHW.

He got knocked the fuck out with a glancing blow by a light heavyweight. If he moves up to heavy weight, you might as well plan his funeral now.

walker needs cut and sent to bellator or one fc where usada wont be chasing him around anymore.

Imagine what that elbow from Tuivasa would have done to him. He’d be in a special care facility for life.

He’s a fun fighter who has flashy KO’s or is on the receiving end of them. Hes a very gifted and explosive athlete and in that domain, I’d say hes top tier for his division but that chin man..

Every heavyweight has KO power. If you don’t have a chin, getting hit by 265 pound men will not go well for you.

He needs to either accept that it’s kill or be killed and fight for the just bleed god or fight terrified to get hit. He’s a textbook glass cannon though and he could crush cans easily for our entertainment.

If I were him, I’d look overseas to see who’d pay the best and go crush cans where the competition is weak and he can juice.

He isnt getting KO'd left and right, but he does fit the bill for a glass cannon, moving to HW might not be the best idea.

He really is a HW based on frame...i wouldn't be surprised if the weight cuts are affecting his chin ..its totally possible he is very at lean lhw...looks really drawn out at weigh ins

240lbs done right HW Walker sounds good .. lets say late 2023 debut i think its doable...( Let the brain heal and the body grow)

Hes such a curious character in that i truely believe its his body letting him down more so then his chin going out cuz the last shot didnt even look that bad ...

I wouldnt be surprised is all im saying that at 240lbs he does better then 205...should he do it...thats up to him

It's possible Walker is one of those guys who's chin is greatly diminished from a big weight cut, but I don't think there's a way to tell till he tries fighting at HW.

Him and Shogan (and Rampage, if he was in the UFC) might be a good case for a Cruiserweight division. I think it could prolong some of these fighters careers.
