Gimme fights ? He fought roundtree who was coming off a ko of saki and was a heavy favoritate as an underdog for his debut

His third fight (with less than a month from his 2nd) was a short notice replacement bout against a top 10 guy

I agree with you that’s hes still unproven and a good savvy veteran like Anderson would be a solid test to see where he stands skill wise

But let’s not pretend he was given easy fights to build up like sage

Round tree was getting his punishment for upsetting Saki. Both guys after that were meh at best. But you do have to love his willingness to step in on short notice. He looks like he generally loves to fight.

The entire division is meh at best outside of jones

Mishap is unfortunately top 10 guy based on current comp
 
He's looking dangerous. I hope they give him a few more fights before they throw him in with Jones.

That's actually a decent match-up. Anderson has a fairly well rounded game with legit wrestling.

Would be a nice gauge to see where Walker is at in terms of top 5 material.

I want to see him vs Jones. Someone like him is the guy to have a chance at Jones. He is not afraid and will mount offense. TDD will be the only factor.
 
With a name like that, it would be even better if he were a good ol' boy from Tennessee or Kentucky.

Misha Cirkunov is no joke.
To knock him out cold with a flying knee like that was a thing of beauty.
Rountree was not a joke as well and Walker KO'd him as easily as he did Cirkunov.
It would be difficult to find the next opponent for Walker.
I don't think anyone in the division is gonna be eager to sign on the dotted line.

Misha is still ranked too (15th) after that loss, very respectable fighter.
