This would be equivalent to Fury and Ngannou fighting in Saudi Arabia. Boxing has so many more rules and regulations, and governance. There's no way that boxing match is going to be official. It's an exhibition bout. Boxing organizations won't recognize it.

In MMA, the UFC pretty much runs the whole sport. They can make official fights in Saudi, or Abu Dhabi... but be the ones running the whole thing themselves. Who is going to say otherwise? Bellator gonna say that don't acknowledge Khabib's win due to wieght scandal and lack of Athletic Commission?

Otherwise Johnny Walker would have won by DQ. There's just no way that an illegal strike that blatant, can result in a NC. There's no way that Knee was unintentional either. Ankalaev loaded it up and landed it flush on the grounded opponent's chin. Automatic DQ if fighter can't continue.

For as cursed and as much of his own enemy as Ankalaev seems to be at least he doesn't have morphing in to a literal Loony Toones meme as his calling card in the sport.

Both clowns. Both for very different reasons. But the only reason you used "decimate" is b/c you are a Dagi hater. Sorry brother, at least Conor aborted so you don't have to root for a half Dagi kid.
 
I like Ank as a fighter but he has a terrible personality. Dude is always mad at everyone else when he fucks up. Threw a temper tantrum at Jan and the judges when the toss-up round 3 didn't go his way.

I don't believe Johnny tried to weasel his way out. He was either legit concussed or there was a communication problem between him and the ref. Dude wanted to fight.

The best of them are Jiri and Rakic, but unfortunately for rakic that injury may compromise his entire career.
 
I don't hold it against Ankalaev that it happened.. its a fight, shit happens.. even for professionals..

I do blame him for saying it was Walkers fault thought.. you threw the knee, you dumbfuck!
